I am a data analyst, policy researcher, and data visualization designer based in Los Angeles with nearly a decade of experience helping organizations make better decisions with data.

I started my career at the RAND Corporation, where I supported policy research on topics ranging from criminal justice to school leadership pipelines. That experience shaped how I think about evidence, rigour, and the role of analysis in informing decisions. Since then, I have worked in commercial real estate and medical devices, where I have seen first hand how organizations struggle to build the systems, culture, and infrastructure needed to actually use data well. I’ve spent that part of my career being the person who builds that foundation: developing analytics strategies, data quality frameworks, and reporting systems that put evidence into the hands of decision-makers.

This work has taught me that the gap between having data and using it effectively is rarely technical. It’s behavioural and institutional. Organizations don’t just need better dashboards, they need better systems for harnessing how people actually make decisions. My background in economics and psychology gave me that lens early on, and it’s what draws me to behavioural science, institutional decision-making, and the systems that shape everyday life, from how cities move people to how institutions adapt to emerging technologies.

I’m most energized by work at the intersection of data, evidence, and institutions: improving how organizations adapt to emerging technologies, how governments serve people, and how complex information reaches the audiences that need it. The projects on this site reflect those interests: exploring transit accessibility for LA’s 2028 Olympics, visualizing the history of the transatlantic slave trade through the lens of W.E.B. Du Bois, and writing about the tools and methods I use to communicate with data.
